MEET THE WRITER
SARA McDERMOTT JAIN
Sara an award-winning, produced screenwriter and published author. She has a passion for moving readers and audiences through their fears via the thriller and horror genres. Her thriller novel, Wolves at Night, releases in fall 2021, and her feature directorial debut, Corruptible, goes into production in spring 2022.
In addition to her work in writing and film, Sara also coaches authors from all over the world on how to adapt their books into screenplays, and has worked with dozens of production companies to get scripts production-ready.

DEREK MINDLER
Derek has been fascinated with the technical creativity of filmmaking since he was a young teenager. After finding a digital point and shoot camera with a video function, he spent several years making his own films with his younger brother.
​
In film school, he began to focus exclusively on cinematography, and made his first foray into feature filmmaking during his sophomore year.
In the years since, Derek has shot films, documentaries, music videos and more, all across America, as well as in Asia and Europe. Most recently, he shot the documentary "The One and Only Dick Gregory" which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2021 and on Showtime Networks, as well as the music video "Lie To Me" by Kem and featuring Wiz Khalifa.
